<br />
<br />
So, I know it's been months since I have last posted. I never realized that doing the haunted house with my husband would take so much of my time as well. Not that I minded doing it because I'd do anything for my husband, but it really turned our world upside down. But now that it's over, we can get back to a normal life. I can actually put makeup on, shave my legs, cook dinner, etc,. lol And yes, I said it, shave my legs. You have no idea how much I took that task for granted until all this. But I have to admit it was all worth it in the end. Everyone that went through it absolutely loved it. Those that doubted us got it handed to them. We found Amazing actors to be in it as well. And the best part, we now have an extended family with them. We really could not have asked for better actors, we were truly Blessed. They took our finished haunt to a new level and then some. So my gratitude and appreciation totally goes out to them from the bottom of my heart. And if you all are interested in what haunt we did it's <a href="http://factoryofhorror.com/" target="_blank">Factory of Horror</a>. It was a lot of hard work, but in the end we were told by all that it was the best and most detailed haunted attraction that they had ever been to. We were even told by one couple that had just gotten back from a trip to Universal Studios that our haunted house was even better than theirs. That is a huge compliment, especially for our first year in production. Ok, enough about our haunt and on to newer things.<br />
<br />
Well, now that I'm back I will start posting more deals, hauls, recipes, etc,. It will be slow at first because of course this is the Holiday Season and we have a lot going on for that as well as trying to get things back in order around here from being busy elsewhere. But, I'll be around and hopefully now we can also start working on my studio again so that I can start back to work on my own projects. You have no idea how much I miss crafting. It's been almost 3 years now since I first gave up my former studio to build a bedroom for my stepdaughter in that area of the house. So hopefully we can get back to work on it now and I can get back to that soon as well. So for now I'll do what I can to create beauty through makeup, cooking, etc,.<br />
<br />
Anyway, I just wanted to pop on for a few and let you all know what's been going on and let you know that I'm back. I have a haul for you too that I'll be sharing from Ulta, Target, Walgreens, etc,. Just a few things I picked up because I was making other purchases and to get free shipping I needed to add a few more items to the cart. Like I said before I would rather buy more products that pay for shipping. :) But that's just me. I did get good deals on them though. I also have a nail art post to share, an empties post and a vinaigrette recipe to share. So a few things in the works. So "Stay Tuned" for all of those. Don't forget to subscribe to my blog and follow me on all of the social media sites.<br />
<br />
Let me know if you are looking for something in particular this Holiday Season that you want a good price on and I'll will find the best deal I can for you. And I'll post any good deals I come across. Oh, you know what? I just remembered I got an email from Target today that if you shop makeup online that there is a coupon code to get 25% off. I guess I can go ahead and post that for you as a jumpstart on getting back into the swing of things. Who doesn't love 25% off of makeup? :) So just got to Target.com, but don't forget to hit up <a href="http://www.ebates.com/rf.do?referrerid=NgZ40tQvQEfuOG0iPMMCng%3D%3D&eeid=28187" target="_blank">Ebates</a> first of course to get your cashback as well. And if you follow the link I provided you will get anywhere from $5-$20 bonus cashback on your first purchase made through <a href="http://www.ebates.com/rf.do?referrerid=NgZ40tQvQEfuOG0iPMMCng%3D%3D&eeid=28187" target="_blank">Ebates</a>. Target is 2% cashback right now. Plus when you shop online you only pay about half the tax because you only have to pay state tax and not local tax. Plus if you use your Target Redcard you will get an additional 5% off. So in the end you are talking over 30% off. Also don't forget to check for any other coupon codes on <span id="goog_1473705511"><a href="http://www.retailmenot.com/view/target.com" target="_blank">RetailMeNot.com</a></span><span id="goog_1473705512"></span> and check to see if there are any online coupons for Target Beauty items on their coupons pages. Sorry, I don't mean to go on and on, but I Love saving money and helping others to save money. It's like an adrenaline rush or a high for me to get the cheapest price that I can for something that I want. lol<br />
<br />
Ok, so I'm really going this time. lol Let me know what you all have been up to in my absence, would love to hear from you. Or if you have anything you want me to review or tips and tricks, etc,. So, until next time!!! Tootles!!!<br />
<br />
Huge Hugs and Blessings to All!!<br />

High End and Drugstore Makeup Haul!!!<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
So here is the Grand Finale for Beauty Haul Week!!! I found a site that sells both high end and drugstore makeup at a huge savings! And I went mad for makeup. I got things I've wanted for a while now but couldn't get my hands on, items I needed to replace and new things I've wanted to try. From Hard Candy to Nars, they have it all! I'll tell you what site later on and even give you a heads up of some sales they got going on right now as we speak, or type. The price you see after each item is what it normally retails for, but nowhere near what I paid. So this was the drugstore items I got:<br />
<br />
<br />

<br />
<br />
A little about these items. All of the Cargo items except for the "Let's Meet In Paris" lipgloss set came as a set. So the Vintage palette, blush, eye shadow single, primer, mascara and lipstick was in one set purchased together. The Becca Mineral Tint was a freebie that they sent me. So what do you think about this haul? Now here's the kicker. All of these items retail for a total of $636.39. I didn't pay nearly that much at all. I did have to pay $20 I think for shipping, which totally sucked (I so hate spending money on shipping that I could use to buy more items lol), but even with that I saved a ton of moolah on this haul.<br />
<br />
So, now would you like to know where I got all of this glorious makeup? It's a website called All Cosmetics Wholesale. I so love this site and they have a few deals going on right now that I would love to share with you.<br />
<br />
20% off items in the Hair Category use code 20OffHair<br />
25% off items in the Sale Category use cody SALE25<br />
<br />
Now like I said before, the only bummer is that if you use a discount code you don't get the free shipping on orders over $75.00, but with what you save if you make a large purchase it's still worth it. So now that I've told you one of my make-up shopping secrets you have to be sure and come back and share what you got from there with me. :) So make sure you stop back by and let me know what deal/s you got in on and what you got.<br />
<br />
Also, I would like for you all to quess how much I actually paid for all of these items. I think if someone can guess within $10.00 of what I actually paid I'll send you a little something for your correct guesstimate. Here's how it works:<br />
<br />
1. This will be open to all as long as your country will allow me to ship you what I gather up to send you. If there is something that I can not ship to you internationally then I will just leave out that item.<br />
2. You must be 18 to enter.<br />
3. You get one guess for following my blog.<br />
4. You get one guess for following me on Instagram.<br />
5. You get one guess for following me on Twitter.<br />
6. You get one guess for posting a little something about this on your blog.<br />
7. You get one guess for Tweeting about this.<br />
8. Just leave me a link to your blog post or tag me in your Tweet in the comments for this post. For the following me guesses just let me know what your user ID is on Twitter/Instagram, etc,. also in the comments for this post.<br />
9. Then leave me your guesses for each follow/post you do along with how you would like for me to contact me if you win.<br />
<br />
I think that's it. Pretty easy and straight forward. I will leave this open until the end of June 2015 then I'll let the winner know, if there is one, that they won. I will contact you via how you choose me to contact you as per your request. <br />
<br />
Again I apologize for the delay on getting all of my hauls up on my blog. It's been crazy the past few weeks. I will be on vacation for the next 10 days so I won't be able to answer any questions while we are gone. Taking a much needed vacation to visit with my hubby's family on the eastern coast. Beach here we come. :) The last combined Ulta and Beauty.com haul I will do when we get back.<br />
<br />
Don't forget to follow for great deals, recipes, tips, tricks and tutorials. Thank You so much for all the support and love you all send me. You have no idea how much it is appreciated. :) So Super Huge Hugs to You All!<br />

More coming Soon!!<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
So, I know that it was supposed to be Beauty Haul Week and it has now been Beauty Haul 2 Weeks. lol We have been super busy around here so I haven't had time to get to my blog. I know that some of you know me pretty well and if you do you know how close me and my husband are. We do everything together. We have been finishing our basement together, he helps me with my business and I always help him with his ventures as well. We work well together because we think so much alike and we most of the time don't even have to talk as we work because we already know what the other is thinking. Scary I know! lol When one zigs the other automatically zags and I couldn't ask for a better best friend, husband or partner in life. He has always helped me with my crazy ventures because I'm one of those jump in head first and hope the water is deep enough type person. He on the other hand is more careful and calculated. So in the areas where we are different, we balance one another. Anyway, his dream has always been to do a professional haunted house. He has worked for other companies, and to be honest and blunt as I always am, he has gotten the shaft. He has worked on a couple in the St. Louis area where we live as well as one in New York. He has helped out friends that do home haunts and even did one in our two car garage a couple years in a row just to have the thrill of being able to do it. Well, he has finally gotten his opportunity to do a professional haunt and I'm so excited for him. He finally gets to do what he's passionate about doing and put his creativity and talent to good use. He has always supported me and helped me so I'm there right by his side supporting him and helping him on this journey of his. He truly has no idea how happy I am for him that he has finally gotten this opportunity. He so deserves, if not just for putting up with me and my harebrained ideas. lol He is such an amazing man and I can't help but fall in love with him more and more every day. And I honestly love working with him, especially for something that he's so passionate about.<br />
<br />
So, that's why my Beauty Haul Week has taken so long. So that I can help and support my husband with his venture. So, if you want to beat me up for taking so long and dropping the ball, go right ahead. The joy I have in my heart for my Woobie (that's what my hubby and I call each other :o)...) will over shadow it a million to one. I do have one more two combined small haul and then one more mega haul. With the mega haul I will be sharing a secret place to get high end makeup for super cheap, so stay tuned for that. And so that you don't miss it, make sure you follow me here on my blog or on my other social media sites so you don't miss out.<br />
<br />
So I just wanted to stop in and give you all a heads up as to where I have been. I know I don't have many followers here on my blog, but I do not that there are a lot of readers and I have more followers on my other sites. I'm beginning to think that blogs are passe now as no one really comments to much on them anymore. But you make a post on Instagram and wholly canoli it's on. lol But I like to blog, I know I don't get to do it as much as I would like to, but I still like to do it, so as long as it's something I enjoy, then I will continue to do it. You have to do what you enjoy because life is so short and so precious to live a dull humdrum life. Life is for Loving; loving what you do, who you are around and the life that you lead. So if you are not happy with your life then do something about it or before you know it it'll be over and you'll regret not doing all those things that you wished you had. You'll regret all the "I Love You's" you didn't say, or the kisses you didn't give or hugs you didn't get. Find what makes you happy and do it!!! And don't forget to tell those you care about how much you love them every time you see them. Over the past few years I have realized how short life is and I tell my friends "I love them" every time I see or talk to them.<br />
<br />
So I need to go for now, but like I said, keep watching in the next few days for my last two Beauty Week(s) lol Hauls. I'll chat with you all later! Huge Hugs from me to You!!!<br />
<br />
Blessings and Lots of Love to All!,<br />

<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
So again I'm behind on my hauls, but better late than never right? :) Here is another small haul, but it's still a haul just the same. I had a 20% off coupon for Ulta along with items being on sale, so good deals all around. Here's what I got:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjFfPk6lYmMkbvkAloYAp_9keN9ev6MIJTg8ufGAyo2wptAXgmTxFL_PB0ZkGEvlbmXXNf-U7x29Uh7SsI5Bw_UkX47yDlqg3QAZx-WsTFqZWmOIlFYPLEGKd4849idKk-StOfzxWu5wME/s1600/UltaHaul1April2015.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjFfPk6lYmMkbvkAloYAp_9keN9ev6MIJTg8ufGAyo2wptAXgmTxFL_PB0ZkGEvlbmXXNf-U7x29Uh7SsI5Bw_UkX47yDlqg3QAZx-WsTFqZWmOIlFYPLEGKd4849idKk-StOfzxWu5wME/s320/UltaHaul1April2015.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
1. Smashbox Full Exposure mini palette<br />
2. Lorac Alter Ego "Heart Breaker" palette<br />
3. Stila Portrait of a Perfect Cheek palette<br />
4. NYX Automatic Eyebrow Pencil in Dark Brown<br />
5. NYX Automatic Eyebrow Pencil in Taupe<br />
6. NYX High Voltage Lipstick in Priveleged<br />
7. Montagne Jeunesse Mint Chocolate Chip moisturizing mask<br />
<br />
<br />
I again have not gotten a chance to use the palettes or lipstick and I got the masks for my stepdaughter because she loves mint chocolate like I do. But the eyebrow pencils have been my staple for a few years now and I love them. I was out of them both so I needed to get a couple more. The Heart Breaker palette is literally fluorescent pink and I love the colors, so I'm hoping it's going to be a good palette. I will let you know though, for sure. And as usual, if you have any of these items/palettes and would be willing to share your reviews of them please do so. That's how we help each other save money,. For One, who wants to buy something that has bad reviews because it's a waste of money. I love Stila eyeshadow palettes so I'm hoping that the cheek palette will be just as good.<br />
<br />
So if you would like a specific review of one of these items then let me know. It might be a while before I can get to some of the items, but if I know you would like to know sooner than later I'll get it done faster for you. After all, that is what I'm here for. :) And as usual, don't forget to subscribe to my blog and other social media venues so that you don't miss out on anything. I have several more hauls to post and then some reviews and tutorials as I use all my new goodies. I'm also thinking about a give away real soon, just trying to figure out how I want to do it and what I'll give away. I could do some of my favorite items perhaps, we'll see soon enough. So watch out for that give away coming soon! And please don't be scared to share, we can help each other as a community to find what's right for each of us and how to get it for a great price. Well, I'm outta' hyere!! It's almost 4am and I gotsta be at 6 to get the littlest one off to school. <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
So I know that I said that last week I was going to do a haul a day, but some things came up and I got behind. :( That's our life though. Due to my husband being on call 24/7 it's hard to make plans so we pretty much fly by the seat of our pants around here. It's not a life for all as it can get stressful when there's so much to do and not enough time to do it in and then he gets a call and has to go. We never know when that call comes in where he will end up or for how long. Most of the time it's local and it's only for a few hours, but other times it's go to another state hours away for a week or a couple of nights. We literally never know so we try to cram in as much as we can when we can. And with that means that the best laid plans for the majority of the time do not work out. So from the bottom of my heart, I apologize for now and in advance for the future when I get behind on blogs or videos, updates or reviews. But unless you've lived this lifestyle you really have no idea what it's like. We have lost friends over it because they think we were just always blowing them off or because we couldn't make plans well in advance. But to me that just means they weren't true friends to begin with and who needs friends like that anyway.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
To get on with the haul, I happen to go to Sally Beauty Supply to pick up some hair styling products for my hubby and some dying supplies for myself when low and behold they had a bunch of polish on clearance. Now for anyone that knows me, I can not pass up on polish or makeup on clearance when it's a fraction of the original cost. So I had to pick up a few colors that I don't have in my vast polish collection. Yes, I said vast as I have over 300 bottles. Of course, I do know that for some that's just a drop in the hat, so to them 300 bottles is nothing. Even for me I do have to admit that is a lot, but I don't do just my nails, so I never know when a particular color will come in handy. Anyway, then after that I went to Target to pick up some household items and low and behold they had a ton of polish on clearance as well. Sooooooo.....Yes, you guessed it, I had to pick up a few more. So here is what I got:</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizOyfLV1i5VMwxBeuVQ5xDiEa2yRez9hvFsWWkt5qOmeWgljOGjg7UphQQ0VBR-AOzVlS8CfzIFn83vuboPjAOFcYGsLVXFR20GVDZZwKW_uTb4429xnkB_nVzNv9wZSp2M5jJoos29C8/s1600/SallyTargetPolishHaul1May2015.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizOyfLV1i5VMwxBeuVQ5xDiEa2yRez9hvFsWWkt5qOmeWgljOGjg7UphQQ0VBR-AOzVlS8CfzIFn83vuboPjAOFcYGsLVXFR20GVDZZwKW_uTb4429xnkB_nVzNv9wZSp2M5jJoos29C8/s320/SallyTargetPolishHaul1May2015.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
1. Finger Paints- In the City Lookin' Pretty<br />
2. L'Oreal- New Money 108 (This looks yellow in the pics, but it is actually Lime Green)<br />
3. Revlon Parfumerie- Surf Spray 50<br />
4. Revlon Parfumerie- Wild Violets 150<br />
5. pixi- Olive Gold 062<br />
6. Finger Paints- Art Hue Feeling Young? Nail Art Polish<br />
7. China Glaze- Full Spectrum 1027<br />
8. China Glaze- Rare & Radiant 1164<br />
9. Finger Paints- Composition Silver<br />
10. Finger Paints- Paint the Town Purple<br />
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I have not swatched or used these yet, so if you would like to see swatches, etc,. then let me know and I will be more than happy to do them for you. 2-5 I got from Target and the rest were Sally's. Like I stated already the L'Oreal "New Money" is not yellow as depicted in the pics, it is a lime green. Greens, yellows, pinks and reds are so hard to photograph sometimes. Also, I have no idea where my cameras are or if they even have a charge on them so I took the pics with either my phone or tablet this week, so I know the pics are horrid. This past week has been so cloudy and gloomy and rainy so taking pics was hard to do on top of it all.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So if you already have these colors in your polish collection or want to share your latest polish haul or collection with us, please do. We would all love to see it. If you would like to see my polish collection, then please feel free to let me know, I'd be more than happy to share it with you. <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
So this is just a small haul, but it's still a haul none the less. I had $11 in Drugstore.com Dollars I had to spend by the end of April so I didn't lose them and then got an extra $15 off with a coupon code, so I got a few little things. So here's what I got:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiaYjYRB5f19Pm49JmVu7be-TW8V5RYZIBnTgYmeiyXkUUXq7t4K-Cd16Q9fr21aE-oWMYm0bCQDInWK3FTS5-k8OTdhloPsJ0dk8o7TUAypC5_dlZy2B8L6-H_ckc39xfpUtpxmugmn_Q/s1600/BeautyDotComHaul.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiaYjYRB5f19Pm49JmVu7be-TW8V5RYZIBnTgYmeiyXkUUXq7t4K-Cd16Q9fr21aE-oWMYm0bCQDInWK3FTS5-k8OTdhloPsJ0dk8o7TUAypC5_dlZy2B8L6-H_ckc39xfpUtpxmugmn_Q/s320/BeautyDotComHaul.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
theBalm "Nude Dude" palette<br />
Beauty Blender Original<br />
Boots Botanics Mineral Blusher "Lotus Pink"<br />
theBalm Brow Pow Eyebrow Powder "Light Brown"<br />
<br />
Nothing major I guess, but for 33% off that's worth talking about I guess. :) I really love the Nude 'Tude palette so when I saw theBalm came out with another palette in this line I had to have it. I also got theBalm's new Balmsai palette on HauteLook a while back and love the brow powders in it so I thought I would get one. I have to be honest that the Boots Botanics blush was just to get the $15 off. I needed to have a total of $75 to get it and I needed a few bucks to make it there. I haven't tried it yet, probably will today, but I'll let you know what I think of it later on. I'll just update this post probably, so keep your eyes peeled for it.<br />
<br />
As for the Beauty Blender, I finally broke down and got one. I like using my brushes or fingers to apply foundation, etc,. I did purchase the one from Real Techniques a while back and it's OK, but nothing to write home about. Honestly I feel that using my fingers or brushes takes way less time to apply, so I really don't use it much at all. But I keep seeing/hearing that the Beauty Blender is so amazing and makes your makeup look like it's airbrushed, so I'll give it a whirl and see what happens. When I put my makeup on I'm usually in a hurry and I don't have time for extra steps or things that take a lot of time to do, so we'll see what happens. I guess if the finish is worth the extra time then I'll use it. I'll let you know what I think later on after I give a chance.<br />
<br />
So anyone done any good hauls or got any money saving deals/ideas? We'd all like to hear it, so comment below!! Don't forget to join my blog or follow me on all those social media sites to hear about more of my hauls, tips, tricks, recipes, etc,. And as always, Huge Hugs and Blessings to All!!<br />

<br />
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So remember back when I said that Sigma Beauty was having a 20% off sale? So this is what I got. I have not gotten a chance to test out any of the makeup as of yet because I had it all in the box waiting for me to get time to take pics before I dug into it. But I plan on using it tonight for Taco Tuesday at Fuzzy's Taco Shop. So later I will post a review for you all. If there is anything you want me to review a.s.a.p. then let me know and I'll make sure I get it posted for you right away.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So as you all know I am a thrifty shopper, so I know this stuff may be a little older items on the market and probably played out by now, but it's still new to me so I'm sure it's new to others as well. Of course I stacked their sale prices on top of the 20% off, so I got quite the deals. Except for the brushes as I already have those in my arsenal but needed a few more of them as I'm pretty bad about finding time to clean my brushes. So I have several of the ones I use daily so I don't have to clean them as often. :) These are my favorite blending brushes for the crease. Depending on how wide I want the blend depends on which one I use. So my transition color goes on with the E40, for the base crease color I use the E35, and if I want a tighter crease color I use the E25. I can't tell you how much I love these brushes. If you don't have them in your arsenal then you seriously need to invest in them when you can get a good deal on them.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Ok, on to what I got and I'll even throw in how much I paid for it so you can see how I shop. So without further ado here is my Sigma Beauty Haul:</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3p2ieCpzpif3kIM_4VyVSpK912Qfcb_pS7sGFT0HguQGoxfbjmcCcoIaTYwYxUYwoBOIHzMyO0yjhN5d4uKuWh2hxTmP2NsE-Ku5GQrmRvxoTKIDblNfTsdT46dgZDIcKLovQFoA1fIo/s1600/SigmaHaul1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3p2ieCpzpif3kIM_4VyVSpK912Qfcb_pS7sGFT0HguQGoxfbjmcCcoIaTYwYxUYwoBOIHzMyO0yjhN5d4uKuWh2hxTmP2NsE-Ku5GQrmRvxoTKIDblNfTsdT46dgZDIcKLovQFoA1fIo/s320/SigmaHaul1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
1. Flare Palette reg. price $39, sale price $29, I paid $23.20<br />
2. Flare Shadow Base Kit reg. price $36, sale price $28.80, I paid $23.04<br />
3. Sigma Tapered Blending E35 reg. price $16, I paid $12.80<br />
4. Sigma Blending E25 reg. price $14, I paid $11.20<br />
5. Sigma Tapered Blending E40 reg. price $16, I paid $12.80<br />
6. Lip Switch "Pink-Lotus" reg. price $14, I paid $11.20<br />
7. Lip Switch "Other-Wordly" reg. price $14, I paid $11.20<br />
8. Lip Switch "Double-Whammy" reg. price $14, I paid $11.20<br />
9. Brow Pencil "Dressed Up" reg. price $9, I paid $7.20<br />
10. Individual Eye Shadow "Approach" reg. price $11, sale price $7.70, I paid $6.16<br />
11. Deluxe Sample Lip Vex "Sheila" reg. price $6.00, I paid $0<br />
12. Eye Shadow Palette "Warm Neutrals" reg. price $39.00, I paid $31.20<br />
13. Eye Shadow Base "Strike" reg. price $13.00, sale price $9.10, I paid $7.28<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
So my total should've been $241 and I paid $168.48 for a savings of $72.52 which is 30%. That's not bad considering quite a few of the items were full price and I only got 20% off of them. This is how I like to shop and I can't help but get a little excited when I can get what I want and save big money on it. I know I'm not the only one that gets excited when they can save money, so that's why I post so many deals/sales when I find them. I love to share the excitement! lol</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Like I said before I'll be posting a review later on after I get a chance to use them a little so I can give them a chance to prove themselves to me. I'm hoping it will be a good review as the Sigma Beauty makeup I already have I Love. Let me know if you want me to do a review of something sooner and I'll be more than happy to. I will probably do a look as well with it, so watch out for that as well. Of course that is if it's good stuff, which I'm sure it will be.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So did anyone else get in on the Sigma Beauty 20% off deal? Let us all know if you did and what you got. Post reviews of what you think of the products you got. Lets help each other weed out the bad and bring in the good makeup. lol I hate when I spend money on makeup that is crap, that's why reviews are so good to help one another keep from making that mistake. And even if a company sends me products to review I will always be honest as to what I think about it as well as let you know that they sent it to me. I believe honesty is the key to life, lies only pile up like trash and leave your life messy. No one wants a messy life.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Well, it's off to eat lunch and start getting ready for Taco Tuesday, so I'll let you all go for now. As always Huge Hugs and Blessings to You All!!</div>

<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I know it has been a long while since I posted about Sonia Kashuk being on sale at Target a while back, for that matter it's been forever since I've even posted anything at all. I'll tell you more about why later on, but for now, I promised to show off my hauls so that's what I'm going to do.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So everyone seems to rave about the Sonia Kashuk Palettes, but the Matte one in particular. I just didn't feel that I needed more neutral palettes and especially for $20 a pop. But when Target had them for buy 2 or more get 20% off, I thought, "why the hell not". So I got a total of 6 palettes, but one was a second matte palette for a friend so hence why only 5 palettes shown. Of course I used Ebates, purchased online and used my Target Red Card for more than just the 20% off as well as free shipping, but I'm sure that you all are tired of hearing about how I save money by now. lol I also found a way to get a little extra off of my orders. If it is an item that is available for a subscription, then by all means sign up for the subscription and get your additional 5% off. Once you recieve your item/s just go in and cancel them if you don't really want them. I know it's cheating, but it works to save a little more money.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So enough about money saving and on to my Sonia Kashuk Haul. Here is what I got:</div>
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqY9n2SIRfPAkg0T-RQv2ZZw3qNyIVxixEbjYlsQebc56pTT5U3jycxJ6DKDlqA7s4QjDO5TQDQrwLbozpZRYDWltQWnTOsnO7FYs6cad15-jWGJGemtQhq90rc9VU_yLuhhycazvvA5Q/s1600/SoniaKashuk2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqY9n2SIRfPAkg0T-RQv2ZZw3qNyIVxixEbjYlsQebc56pTT5U3jycxJ6DKDlqA7s4QjDO5TQDQrwLbozpZRYDWltQWnTOsnO7FYs6cad15-jWGJGemtQhq90rc9VU_yLuhhycazvvA5Q/s320/SoniaKashuk2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
1. Sonia Kashuk Eye Couture Palette "Eye On Neutral Shimmer 3"<br />
2. Sonia Kashuk Eye Couture Palette "Eye On Neutral Matte"<br />
3. Sonia Kashuk Eye Shadow Quad "Shimmering Sands" 16<br />
4. Sonia Kashuk Eye Shadow Quad "Showstoppers" 01<br />
5. Sonia Kashuk Eye Shadow Quad "Fair And Square" 44<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
If you have noticed, I have not even opened 3 & 5. Why? You ask. Because I'm so very unimpressed with the other 3 that I have opened. The colors are not very pigmented. What color you can get blends easily, but it fades quickly and most of the colors look the same once applied. The #4 quad shadows are so dry they won't even stick, all you get is the glitter that gets everywhere because it's so dry. If you would like some swatches I will be more than happy to do so for you, but honestly unless you want them it's totally not even worth my time. I might add them at a later date, but these are in the bin of items I regret buying. And yes, I did use a good primer before I used them. I just don't see what all the hype is. For the same amount of money, I would suggest a couple Wet N Wild or NYX palettes that are cheaper. Of course I feel that Wet N Wild is totally underrated anyway.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I would totally love to hear your opinions on these palettes. Maybe there is something I'm doing wrong and you could enlighten me, please feel free to do so. And for any of you who feel the way I do about these palettes, please let me know that I'm not the only one!!!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So I should have several other high end as well as drugstore hauls this week, I sort of went a little crazy last month just don't tell my hubby. lol But for the deals I got, I just couldn't pass it up. Maybe I'll get around to doing a makeup collection video or post so you can see how just how makeup crazy I am. lol I also have quite the nail polish collection, I think over 300 bottles now. But I have been collecting for many years. I believe I even have some from high school, but don't tell anyone. :) So keep watching and don't forget to sign up for my blog posts or connect with me on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram. I'll leave links below, so you don't miss anything. I'll tell you about one site in particular where you can get high end items at a fraction of the cost. You won't want to miss that!!!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
For now I will sign off so I can go upstairs and get something to eat since it's like after 3pm and I haven't eaten yet today. I'm so bad about that when I have so much to do and so little time to get it all done in. Huge Hugs and Blessings to All!!</div>

For those of you who Love Love Love Sigma Beauty like I do or for any of you who have been wanting to try Sigma makeup and brushes but think they are a little on the pricey side, here is your chance to get your hands on some good stuff from them with a pretty decent sized discount (read below on how to get your discount). I have to say I use their brushes daily and I love them. I also have their Macaroon palette and blushes as well as their Paris palette and I love both of them as well. I just ordered a few more palettes, some of their new Lip Switch lip glosses and some more of my favorite brushes for back ups.<br />

<br />
<br />
If you need a few brush ideas, here are a few of my favorites and what I use them for:<br />
<br />
E40- This is the brush I use everyday for doing my transition color. It is soft and gives a wider blend to your sweep, if that makes any sense.<br />
E35- This one is great as a crease brush if you want a nice blend that is wider than what you would get with the E25, but not as wide as the E40. So a basic crease brush in other words.<br />
E25- This one I use as a crease brush but for a tighter crease blend. This one is great for those that don't have much room for shadow like those with smaller eyes or those that have less place for color between your brow bone and your crease.<br />
F82- This Kabuki brush is great for doing foundation and is a must have. I use this daily for all of my foundations and it gives a great airbrushed effect.<br />
F70- This is a great brush to use with eyeshadows that are glittery or very powdery because it packs on the eyeshadow rather than fluffing it on, if that makes any sense. Great for Urban Decay shadows. Don't let the fact that it's called a concealer brush keep you from getting it. It's also great for precision loading of lid color like when you want a cut crease look.<br />
E15- Great for pushing an eyeshadow close to the lash line. This gives a gorgeous smokey effect.<br />
E20- Great for smudging out your liners or getting in the crease with a tight crease color as well as using in the outer "V" for a more defined "V".<br />
E50- This is a great one for a more concentrated highlighter all over face such as bridge of the nose or cupids bow, but it's also a great brow bone highlighting brush. Also great for concentrated contouring as well like along the sides of the nose.<br />
P86- I love using this one for setting my undereye concealer, especially when you aren't using powder all over the face but just under the eyes. It fits nicely under the eye and in your inner corner.<br />
P82- This one is a great one for blurring out your concealer whether it's under the eyes or on the face. I use my fingers for doing this on myself, but when I use concealer on clients this it what I use since you don't want to be using your fingers on a client.<br />
<br />
<br />
These are just a few of my favorites and ones that I use daily, but there are so many to choose from. I also like that they now give you choices in color options. Of course I wish that they weren't more expensive, but I guess that's the price you pay for options/choices. lol<br />
<br />
Anyway, now on to how you get 20% off at Sigma Beauty. If you download the Sigma Beauty app they will send you a code for your 20% off. I believe they mentioned that Android users have to use their browser to use the code. I don't know if that means they don't have the app for Android yet, or if it just doesn't work on the Android app. But I do know that Apple users have to turn notifications on to get the discount code sent to them through notifications. But here is a spoiler alert. I will post somewhere on my blog the coupon code that you need to use to get the 20% off. It will be in one of my beauty posts, if that helps any. That is for any of you who don't want to download the app or don't have a tablet or smart phone. I know that seems silly to say, but I know quite a few who don't have either of them, so this is for you all that don't. :)<br />
<br />
So come on back by and let me know what you got or what some of your Sigma Beauty products are. And don't forget to subscribe to my blog so that you get more sale information as well as beauty, cooking and other tips. I would love to hear from you!!! And as usual, Have a Most Serendipitous Weekend!!!<br />

<br />
<br />
Ok, I'm seriously dying to make a make-up tutorial video, but not sure where to begin. I have so many ideas and make-up looks to choose from that I'm almost overwhelmed by what to do first. So, I was thinking about it the other day and thought to myself, I'm not creating the videos for myself, I'm creating them for you so why not ask you what you want to see. So here's your chance to put in your input on what you would like to see as my first make-up tutorial. Is there a certain palette you want to see me use, or a certain color you would like to see, or certain look or something that would go with your eye color, etc,. You let me know!!!<br />
<br />
Also, with my first video I think I'm going to do a give-away!! Should I do one of my favorite palettes? Or some of my favorite polishes? Or just some of my fave products? You decide and let me know. But make sure you sign up to be a member of my blog so you don't miss it.<br />
<br />
I'm excited to do my first video, but do you think I should do a welcome to my channel vid first?!?! Just a vid that tells a little about me and what sort of things you will see on my channel. I don't know, again, you tell me what you think. I'm at your mercy. lol<br />
<br />
I'm looking forward to hearing from you all and seeing your opinions as they truly do matter to me. Wish me Luck!! :)<br />

This is my version of Bourbon Chicken which I have been wanting to make for years, but since I'm not a big fan of bourbon, whiskey, brandy, etc,. I never wanted to buy the alcohol just to make it. But I finally broke down and bought some so I could make it. I know normally it's all chicken, but I like to cook as healthy as I can and having all chicken isn't high on the health meter, so I added in veggies. So without further ado, here we go:</div>

Bourbon Chicken My Way with Brown Rice</div>

<br />
<br />
<br />
Ingredient list:<br />
<br />
24oz Cubed Chicken (you can use boneless skinless breasts or whatever you have on hand)<br />
1-2 Tbs Extra Virgin Olive Oil<br />
1/4 tsp Red Pepper Flakes <br />
4 Large Carrots angle cut about 1/4" thick<br />
1 Large Sweet or Red Onion quartered and sliced<br />
1 Each Large Red, Green, Orange and Yellow Pepper 1-1 1/4" cubed<br />
4 Green Onions cut into fourths<br />
1 Can Chunk Pineapple drained<br />
Salt and Pepper to taste <br />
6 Cups of prepared White or Brown Rice (optional)<br />
<br />
Sauce:<br />
<br />
1/2 C Water<br />
1 1/4 C Apple Juice<br />
6 Tbs Low Sodium Soy Sauce<br />
1/2 Tbs Sesame Oil <br />
2 Tbs Hoisin Sauce<br />
1tsp Minced Garlic<br />
1 tsp Ginger Spice Blend (it comes in a tube at Walmart in the produce section)<br />
1/4 C Brown Sugar packed<br />
2 Tbs Soy Sauce<br />
4 Tbs Southern Comfort<br />
2 Tbs Cornstarch<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Get all your ingredients cut up and ready to go because it cooks quick and you want to add the veggies in order of how long they take to cook. In a bowl mix all of the ingredients for the sauce and let it set until you are ready to add it to the pan.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Heat up your pan on medium to medium high heat and add in 1/2 - 1 Tbs of your EVOO. Once pan is heated but before it starts smoking add in your carrots. Add in a little salt and pepper and toss them around until they start to brown a bit. Once browned add in your onion and red pepper flakes. I like to add in a little salt and pepper, not much, to each layer that I add. If you add in your salt a little at a time as you layer your cooking it doesn't take as much salt to flavor your food. Of course using spices rather than a bunch of salt helps as well to keep the food tasty but with less sodium. Just when onions start to turn slightly clear but still crunchy add in your red, green, orange and yellow peppers. Once they start to sweat add in your green onion and cook for just a minute or two and then remove from heat and place your veggie mixture in a bowl.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Next, in the same pan, you are going to turn the heat up to a little higher temp. and add in the rest of your EVOO. As soon as your pan gets hot and starts to smoke slightly add in your chicken. Cook your chicken while stirring every 2 min. or so, so it doesn't burn but does brown a little. Cook it for a few minutes then add in another layer of salt and pepper to taste. Adding in salt after it has seared a little on the outside helps keep from a lot of juice escaping and keeping your chicken from browning. Just when chicken is just about done, pull it off of the stove and place it as well in a different bowl, set aside.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now for the sauce. Lower the heat on your pan back down to medium high to medium heat depending on your stove and add your sauce mix to the pan. Let this reduce and thicken for a few minutes and then place in your drained pineapple chunks. Cook pineapple for a couple of minutes and then add your chicken back in stirring it well and combining the chicken juices in the sauce. Once your chicken has reheated then add your veggies and stir well also incorporating those juices into your sauce as well. As soon as it's all heated thoroughly it's done.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I served this over brown rice but you can have it over noodles, white rice, brown rice, etc,. or just plain as I usually do because I'm not a big fan of rice. To me the texture is monotonous, but that's just me. So I usually get Chinese and give my rice to my husband. lol I did have this over the brown rice and it was really good. The larger chunks of chicken and veggies helped. :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Also remember that I have a rather large family, so my recipes are for 6 or more people. So if you are cooking for two, etc,. you can very the recipe. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Again, please let me know if you make this recipe and what you think of it. I make it all up as I go along and again I know my family likes it, but I would love to hear from you and hear how your family liked it. I've been seriously thinking of creating a cook book, so any feedback at all would be helpful in making my decision as to whether or not to write one.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Share your favorite recipes with us if you like, or if you added in your own tweeks to my recipe, I would love to hear that as well. :) Again, I truly value your comments and look forward to hearing from you!!</div>

<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Let's face it, you can't please everyone and you're bound to run into it at some point on the internet or in the real world. Although probably more so on the internet because on the internet those sitting behind a computer screen are faceless and nameless and think that they can throw whatever they want out there into space and it's OK. Well, it's not.<br />
<br />
Negative remarks can be a good thing, but it depends on how it's done. Everyone needs constructive criticism once in a while. In honesty that is how we get better at what we do. It tells us what we need to do differently to achieve our goals in life. And in that regards, positivity, although we love hearing it, doesn't really help us grow. But it's how it's done that can make or break the deal. If done properly it can help, if done in a brash, hurtful, threatening, violent or destructive way, that can be detrimental to anyone and can damage that person or what they are trying to achieve. I know that you are going to run into people you don't like, or things you don't like, or you don't like how someone does their hair or make-up, etc,. But truly if it makes that person happy who are you to tell them any different? It's OK to say, "Hey! You know that color really doesn't go well with your eyes." or "You know if you do it like this you can get it done faster", etc,. But to down right degrade someone and hurt their feelings over something that in the end is so trivial or minute in the grand scheme of things, who does that really help?<br />
<br />
I have always lived by the rules of etiquette that my grandparents taught me, "Treat others as you would want to be treated". Seriously, would you want someone bashing you and tearing down your confidence? Would you want someone tearing down your dreams and ambitions? No, then don't do it to others, point blank. I know it's easy to do when you are basically anonymous and no one knows who you are, etc,. But again, would you want someone doing it to you? If not then again, DON'T DO IT! It's that simple. It doesn't make you cool or make people respect you for it, and if they do respect you for it or think you're cool for doing it, then those really aren't the people you would want in your life because they will turn around and do it to you in a heartbeat. <br />
<br />
Another thing we should look at is why people would do such a thing. Are they doing it because they are jealous or because they don't have the courage to put themselves out there? Because in all reality, that's truly one of the real reasons behind it, they just won't admit it. Most people that would sit behind a computer screen and call others out in such a malicious way are really feeling badly about themselves and when they see others doing what they wished they could do or had the courage to do they lash out in hateful ways. Or maybe they just aren't a good person to begin with and have issues of their own they need to deal with. And of course that's not fair to those that they are adversely affecting, but they find no other way to deal with their own issues or shortcomings. Those people need to make others look bad to somehow in their mind make themselves look better. And of course another reason could be because people by nature are scared of what they don't understand or don't have experience in. Someone who has been skinny all their life, for instance, has no idea what it's like to be overweight or why, so they make fun of anyone who is overweight because they don't understand it. Everyone thinks that if you eat right and you're active you'll be skinny too. And that is by far from the truth because there are so many factors that cause or create obesity. I wish I could put people in the shoes of those that they hate on because I think it would open their eyes to how the other person feels. Now there are other reasons that people lash out in negative ways, but these are the most common reasons. So the next time someone hates on you just remember that it's usually because they are not happy with themselves or having other issues in their life that causes them to lash out at others. And if you look at it from that stand point it will help you immensely because you will realize that it's really not you that they are lashing out at. It doesn't make it right, but it'll help ease the pain.<br />
<br />
The biggest thing that people need to remember is to not feed into the negativity. Let those people and those comments be. I know it's hurtful, but just delete it and walk away from it. If you bite back you are truly encouraging them and giving them the power because you are giving them control of the situation. But if you just delete it and walk away, they have nothing. No power because they have nothing to come back with. Oh, they may try to come back at you again, but if you just keep deleting them and not engage with them, they'll eventually give up and move on to someone else. Sad but true. Be true to yourself and do what you need to do to better yourself and make yourself happy. Don't let others hurt you or veer you off your path because you will only be hurting yourself in the end.<br />
<br />
Again, I know that no one wants to be told no, or that you don't fit in or that what you are doing is not pleasing to everyone. But you can't please everyone. There are way too many different opinions, likes/dislikes and ideas out there in the world to please everyone. And I also know that by nature we are pretty much a negative species and need to make a conscious decision to be positive and that it doesn't come to some as easy as others. But if you stay true to yourself and stay on your path to enlightenment and achievements you will succeed and win. And to those that think they are being cool or being respected by others for knocking, hurting or maiming others, you're not. You are only making yourself in the end look bad. Put yourself in that persons shoes and think to yourself, what if it was me? would I want to be talked to or treated like that? Whether you are anonymous or not, it's not OK to hurt others and maybe you should take a good hard look at yourself if you feel you have the need to. If you do however feel the need to share your opinion, because in the end that is all it is "your opinion", then do so in a respectful and non-confrontational way. Do it in a way that will help them in their goals not hinder them as I'm sure you would not want others to do to you. Others will respect you more and you will be able to look at yourself in the mirror and still love and respect yourself. If you help lift others, others will help lift you.<br />
<br />
If it is a loved one in your life that causes negativity in your life, I truly feel for you. I know from personal experience that it's a difficult choice, but you really need to walk away from them and distance yourself from them. If you don't, they will only continue to bring you down. I have walked away from several people in my life because they are ugly people and negative and tried to push it on me or get me involved. But you have to do it for you. You can only make excuses for that person or let them bring you down for so long before you yourself get brought down into their darkness. You can still hold a place in your heart for them. Maybe if you walk away it will also make them question why and can possibly help them in the long run. But you can't change people, they have to want to change and make those changes on their own.<br />
<br />
One last thing, if you do criticize someone in a negative way, don't just do it and walk away. Offer them a solution that may help them in their journey or with their goal. It's one thing to criticize someone, but it's another to try and help them solve their mistakes. This is another way to criticize positively or respectfully. By saying, "Those jeans may not be the right choice for you, maybe try these jeans instead", is the best way to constructively criticize someone. It shows that you care about them and you want to help them rather than tear them down or hurt them. I know this is just an example, but it is criticism that will be better received and will actually help them learn from their mistakes/choices. Just don't get offended if they don't take your advice because in the end it is their decision and they are here on Earth to make themselves happy just like you are.<br />
<br />
I know there may be a lot of redundancy or too much of my opinion in this matter, but I'm trying to get a point across none the less. I truly care about people and always want someone feeling happy/positive when in my presence or when dealing with others. I do believe in Karma and I believe that what you put out there comes back tenfold. If you are nasty to others then bad things will happen to you, but if you are good to others then good things will come. It may not be right away, which I know is human nature to want instant gratification, but patience will bring better things in the end. I just hope this post can help one person either feel empowered or make someone think twice before posting something malicious. That really is one of my major goals in life, to help others. If I can help one person in a positive manner because of my life experiences, advice, encouragement, love for others, etc,. then that is what makes my life worth while. Above all remember, "Only you can love you the best!". Love yourself and positive things will happen.<br />
<br />
As always, feel free to leave your comments on this post whether it is an experience you had, how you handle negativity, or how you feel about the subject. Maybe what you have to say will help someone else. But as always, keep it friendly. <br />
<br />
As Always Huge Hugs to All of You!!!<br />

<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So for any of you who love Sonia Kashuk or have wanted to try it, now's the time. At Target when you buy two Sonia Kashuk items you get 20% off of both items. Now, if you want to maximize your savings then be sure to start with <a href="http://www.ebates.com/rf.do?referrerid=NgZ40tQvQEfuOG0iPMMCng%3D%3D&eeid=26471" target="_blank">Ebates</a> or <a href="http://www.fatwallet.com/?referral=shabbyboutique" target="_blank">Fatwallet</a> and you will get 1% cashback. Now I know that doesn't seem like a lot, but if you make purchases online often, it all really does add up. Also, don't forget to use your Target RedCard to get an extra 5% off and when you purchase online you only have to pay state tax and not local tax so that also saves you money depending on the taxes in your area. For me that's an extra 5% off.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Again, I know I preach about Ebates and Fatwallet, but it works and for those of you/us that love saving money or needs to save money, it's worth it in the end. They do not pay me to say this, I use their cashback services and I know it works. So why not share my ways of saving money?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Also at Target they have a deal where you spend $75 and get 20% off of mens, womens and childrens clothing, shoes and accessories. So there's another good deal if you're interested. There are also some deals on furniture and rugs as well. We do have some of their furniture pieces and I'm pretty impressed with the quality of it. There's even real wood instead of mdf or particle board in the pieces we purchased.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Well, those are my deals of the day! Let me know if you use any of the deals or if you find any good deals. Let's help each other save money where we can. :)</div>

<br>
<br>
<br>
<br>
So this time of year your lips get dry and cracked and chapped. How do you get rid of it? Well besides the obvious putting lip balm. I know there's tons of companies that sell lip scrubs, but why pay for them when you can do it at home for almost free? All you need is a colorless lip balm like your EOS, Burt's Bees, coconut oil, olive oil, heck even good ole fashioned Vaseline would work. Put your lip balm on your lip and let it sit for at least 10 minutes to let the dead skin soak it in so it comes off easier. Then you may need to reapply your lip balm, but all you have to do is dip your finger in some plain white sugar, brown sugar, raw sugar, doesn't matter, and then use that sugar on your finger to start scrubbing your lips. Just go back and forth using your finger or in a circular motion, etc,. Do this for about 2-5 minutes depending on how chapped your lips are and you're done. I have even done this in hotel rooms using the packets of sugar that comes with your coffee pot in your hotel room. :)<br>

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">
<br></div>
<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">
<br>
<br>
Now if you would rather use a purchased product, I have used several brands and the most inexpensive one I have found that actually works is the Lip Scrub Stick by e.l.f. It's only $3.00 and it does work amazingly. It's brown sugar, coconut oil, aloe, etc,. So that's an alternative, but the good old fashioned DIY works just as well. Just make sure after you scrub your lips though, no matter what you use, make sure to keep lip balm on them for a few day or they will get dried out again and worse. The reason is that you are getting rid of the dead skin and exposing fresh new skin that dries out more quickly if not kept moisturized. So give it a day or two to heal by keeping lip balm on it so they don't get rechapped.<br>

So today I finally got a chance to play with my new Colour Pop Super Shock eyeshadows and Lippie Stix. I have to say that so far I love them. As you all know, I loves me some glitter and shine and these eyeshadows are killer. So let's review shall we?</div>

</div>
<div>
<u>Bae Metallic Eyeshadow</u>- Rich eggplant purple with an emerald, and turquoise, glittery duo chrome metallic finish. This was a super hard color to photograph and I know the pics aren't that great to begin with, but it is a Gorgeous Color. It looks like a dark purple in the pot, but it's definitely eggplant and it has super staying power and blends beautifully.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUmVRrDoTJ827e89lC6XpJIendI2VraaxcXIIxCIlwKaShllc4F7cGbbDYVJO_xonRFAUKA29ATnJUARMQeRdqDvZGXDcyAzRIfpCgt4llKauW20JZWjGkMeiIZ7E-u_XcvVguOl2TCNY/s640/blogger-image-2137198025.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="299" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUmVRrDoTJ827e89lC6XpJIendI2VraaxcXIIxCIlwKaShllc4F7cGbbDYVJO_xonRFAUKA29ATnJUARMQeRdqDvZGXDcyAzRIfpCgt4llKauW20JZWjGkMeiIZ7E-u_XcvVguOl2TCNY/s400/blogger-image-2137198025.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<u>Tea Party Metallic Eyeshadow</u>- A versatile soft peachy pink with
gazillion silver glitters and subtle hints of pale pink glitter. Don't mind that this looks horrible, it came broken, but since it's so creamy all I had to do was pat it back down into the pot. I know I could've said something to them and I'm sure they would've replaced it, but it wasn't really necessary so I didn't bother. It just doesn't look like new, but it's definitely still usable. This is a pretty sheer color so you definitely have to use a primer under it and if you want it intense you will have to use a corresponding base, but it is definitely Gorgeous!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiSLg7x53Nw4Bm69Nc-vDMOtC1kd9fCwPf5rd1gA-fWgrK22x-2Vb348lIHyrjuuysnJ_g6yl1wLyU02PHbxEJD_yJ0dXAT5hGrfWI43N-Rwz-WoNKrQuXRogLuf_C0Hi1QoK4q5SjE9_g/s640/blogger-image-832783268.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="299" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiSLg7x53Nw4Bm69Nc-vDMOtC1kd9fCwPf5rd1gA-fWgrK22x-2Vb348lIHyrjuuysnJ_g6yl1wLyU02PHbxEJD_yJ0dXAT5hGrfWI43N-Rwz-WoNKrQuXRogLuf_C0Hi1QoK4q5SjE9_g/s400/blogger-image-832783268.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<u>Fringe Metallic Eyeshadow</u>- Shimmering champagne with gold and silver glitter. This again is a Gorgeous color. Again though it is a sheer color, so you definitely have to use a base or primer if you want it very pigmented.<br />
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJJvWbxPtmFsKtYG82LLK67YdYaPXvqm4hYEdBGmFhEjpIOcSaIqGTa0yCeVuClfHaES_fHpBFbWlm8svNrqA8UVBw5ATCrFURoxVQsuUCneR5uDH3ZDqWMjUmoU_DBYvw213JKRm96jw/s640/blogger-image--1781492298.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="299" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJJvWbxPtmFsKtYG82LLK67YdYaPXvqm4hYEdBGmFhEjpIOcSaIqGTa0yCeVuClfHaES_fHpBFbWlm8svNrqA8UVBw5ATCrFURoxVQsuUCneR5uDH3ZDqWMjUmoU_DBYvw213JKRm96jw/s400/blogger-image--1781492298.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<u>Girly Metallic Eyeshadow</u>- Creamy vanilla with a flash of pink and gold duo chrome finish. This again is sheer, so primer or base required. But it's another Gorgeous color. It shows more pink on the skin than the cream color.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Now for the Lippie Stix</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWV4YTNFL8OcG2bwm9NiG-Xj_ZX95GIkmuT6oohb2Lixw-czYLyvKLpxK1cg75MuWJ29T_0YV1z8NcsKMGMglH6hif3ShBpa3bkSfxTntkHScFcciSUhMvi7U1mwRfVlOBNYjcSmSYGVg/s640/blogger-image--2092344075.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="299" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWV4YTNFL8OcG2bwm9NiG-Xj_ZX95GIkmuT6oohb2Lixw-czYLyvKLpxK1cg75MuWJ29T_0YV1z8NcsKMGMglH6hif3ShBpa3bkSfxTntkHScFcciSUhMvi7U1mwRfVlOBNYjcSmSYGVg/s400/blogger-image--2092344075.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<u>Bichette Lippie Stix</u>- Deep red wine in a matte finish. I have to say I'm so in love with these Lippie Stix. This is a Gorgeous deep red color with a nice bluish undertone so it makes your teeth white and it goes on like a dream and lasted all day. It did crease a little in the cracks of my lips because they are chapped. But I just used my finger to blend it back out again and was good to go. I ate, drank coffee and from water bottle, etc,. and it stayed pigmented. It did sheer out a little since I was leaving some on my water bottle and coffee cup, but was still highly pigmented. Quite impressed really.</div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
</div>
</div>
<div>
<u><span style="font-weight: normal;">Lumière</span> Lippie Stix</u>- A dusty mauve pink in a matte finish created by the lovely @<a href="http://instagram.com/kathleenlights" target="_blank">KathleenLights</a>. My Gosh, it's another fave. I have dark pigmented lips so this is a great nude shade for those us that do. I'm also dark complected so a lot of nudes for most just does not look good on me because they are just too light. But this one is just right. Thank You Kathleen!!!!<br />
<u>I ♥ this Lippie Stix</u>- Red based fuchsia in a matte finish. OK, so another fave. Gorgeous Color and again it lasts and it's not too dry for being a matte.</div>

</div>
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Colour Pop Super Shock Eyeshadow Turorial</div>
</div>
<div>
<br />
1. Urban Decay "Naked"- This is my transition color that applied using a Sigma Tapered Blending brush E35. Just use windshield wiper motions right above the crease to blend out.<br />
2. Pop Colour "Fringe"- I just used my finger to pat this color on the inner 2/3 of my eyelid.<br />
3. Pop Colour "Tea Party"- I just used my finger to pat this color on the outer 1/3 of my eyelid.<br />
4. Pop Colour "Bae"- I blended this color in my crease using windshield wiper motions in the crease and oval circular motions on the outer part of my crease to blend it out a little more for more depth on the outer part of my crease with a Sigma Blending brush E25. I also smeared this color on the outer 3/4 of my lower lashline with the e.l.f. Essential Smudge Brush (the white handled one).<br />
5. Pop Colour "Girly"- I used this in the inner corner and into the inner 1/4 of the lashline and slightly over Bae to blend the two together with a Crown C461 Pencil brush.<br />
6. Wet n Wild "Sweet As Candy" Palette- I used the browbone color as my highlight color with the e.l.f. Studio "C" brush (the black one). I love this browbone color and it's my favorite highlight color. Just the right amount of shimmer and great for darker complexions as well as my fair complected beauties. It's just perfect.<br />
7. NYX Eyebrow Pencil EP06" Taupe"- When doing my brows I really
hate the look of the lightest part of the brow being in the beginning of
the brow. I know they are being called the "Instagram Brows". I have
never done my brows that way and I personally don't like it. My brows
naturally start out dark in the thickest part of the brow and then get
lighter as they taper out on the ends. So that's how I like to do my
brows when filling them in. I personally have always done it this way
and feel that it looks more natural. So I fill in my entire brow with
the taupe pencil then I go in with...<br />
8. NYX Eyebrow Pencil EP05 "Dark Brown"- ...and go over the
first 1/3 to half of my brow and blend it in for a smooth transition. I also
set my brows with a little translucent powder and then brush them out with Crown Spooly
for not only a more natural look but staying power.<br />
9. Too Faced Bronzer "Chocolate Soleil"- I contoured my face with a Sigma Large Angled F40 brush. First I just want to say that you all know I'm not a big fan of Too Faced. Their packaging is amazing and draws you in saying, "But Me, I'm Cute!", but not impressed with the products themselves. But this bronzer, I absolutely Love Love Love!! It's not orange like most which does not flatter olive skin in the least and it's not too grey like so you don't look muddy. It's perfect, so Great Job! Too Faced.<br />
10. Laura Geller Blush n Brighten "Boysenberry"- This is an absolute Gorgeous color that's perfect for all skin tones and all make-up looks. I applied this as my blush using a Sigma Angled Top Kabuki F84 brush.<br />

Third application- Essence I ♥ Extreme Black</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
5. Powders- Rimmel Stay Matte 001 Transparent applied using a Sigma Foundation F60 on all of the concealed areas first so it doesn't oxidize and turn dark since I'm olive complected. Then Laura Geller Balance n Brighten Powder Foundation in Medium all over face with an e.l.f. Studio Complexion Brush (the black one).</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
6. Eyeliner- Physician's Formula Eye Booster liquid liner in Ultra Black</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
7. Eyeshadow Primer- e.l.f. Mineral Eyeshadow Primer (my all time fave primer) </div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
So, for my final review on Colour Pop cosmetics. I love them!!! The Lippie Stix are matte, but fairly creamy for being matte and they last on the lips. I would definitely do a lip scrub and put some lip balm on before you put it on, but other than that, I'm thoroughly impressed with them. I will definitely be ordering more and I just saw that they have now added blushes to their lineup. Let me know if you would like me to review them for you. Also, I was thinking about doing a give away. What do you think?<br />

As most of you know by now, I don't use recipes when I cook. I just make it up as I go along. But my children are getting older and they want my recipes. So over the past few months I've been trying to put together my recipes from my head as I cook, which is difficult because like I said I'm always just winging it when I cook. lol So tonight I made meatloaf and wrote it down as I went along adding ingredients. I just hope my children realize how much longer it takes to make dinner when you have to think about everything you're doing rather than just throwing it together. I'm hoping though that by the time they get out on their own or get married, etc,. I will have compiled enough recipes for them to get them started.<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Everyone should know how to cook even if you don't do it very often. To me it's like art and I love creating delicious works of art. I have taught a few how to cook over my years and from the beginning pointers I gave them they flourished trying new things and different spices. There are no rules when it comes to cooking, especially when it comes from the heart. So don't be afraid to veer off of the by the book recipe path and add some pizzazz here and there.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I started cooking at a very young age for my brothers as well as myself, around 5th grade. I have never used recipes, I'd just add things together and hope they tasted good. And if it didn't I would tweak it next time til I got just right. As far as learning how to season, I would just smell the spice or seasoning and if it smelled like I wanted it to taste or like it would go with what I was making, then in the pot it went. It's just about trial and error. So don't be shy about cooking or trying something new. The more you do it the better you'll get and the more you'll learn just like everything else in life.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
So without further ado, here is how I make my classic meatloaf.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7Sw41-rRrEbzB-4K2F4qFZ62krblmXoug1TSWYXArW_3VstM5LNjXjOjo07Ei4mdR8vPIZZbiPfQDrBre5x1Yo7DRykIipaDF8d7R5kTtcg9iWER2yjqIJK-LpmeyoqT2Nd-rldN-d-s/s640/blogger-image--1794464329.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7Sw41-rRrEbzB-4K2F4qFZ62krblmXoug1TSWYXArW_3VstM5LNjXjOjo07Ei4mdR8vPIZZbiPfQDrBre5x1Yo7DRykIipaDF8d7R5kTtcg9iWER2yjqIJK-LpmeyoqT2Nd-rldN-d-s/s640/blogger-image--1794464329.jpg" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Prep Time: Approx. 15 minutes </div>
<div>
Cook Time: Approx. 35 minutes </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Preheat convection oven on Meats setting to 375 and spray a 3qt. rectangular baking dish with nonstick spray for easy cleanup later. If using a regular oven I believe it would be more like 400 degrees for the same length of time, but do check it after 25 minutes or so to make sure you don't over cook it.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Serves 8</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Ingredients:</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
2lbs Lean Ground Chuck</div>
<div>
1/2 Medium Sweet Vadalia Onion small diced</div>
<div>
2lg Eggs beaten</div>
<div>
3/4C Ketchup for mixing in loaf</div>
<div>
3/4C Ketchup for layering on top</div>
<div>
2tsp Spicy Brown Mustard</div>
<div>
1tsp Worcestershire Sauce</div>
<div>
1/2tsp Minced Garlic</div>
<div>
1/2tsp Kosher Salt or to taste</div>
<div>
1/4tsp Red Pepper Flake</div>
<div>
1/4tsp Seasoned Meat Tenderizer </div>
<div>
1/4tsp Dried Dill</div>
<div>
1/4tsp Dried Oregano </div>
<div>
1/4tsp Canadian or Montreal Steak Seasoning</div>
<div>
1/8tsp Dried Thyme</div>
<div>
1/8tsp Dried Tarragon </div>
<div>
Fresh Ground Pepper to taste</div>
<div>
6 Slices of Bread cut to 1" cubes</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Put all ingredients in a large mixing bowl minus bread and the second 3/4C ketchup and mix with hands. Once thoroughly mixed add in the bread cubes and mix lightly again making sure you are leaving the diced bread whole. Pat down into a loaf in your glass baking dish making sure to push down and round out the sides away from the sides if the dish slightly so the edges don't burn. Place in oven for 30 minutes or til done. Since all ovens cook differently I would start checking it around 20-25 minutes in so you don't burn it. Once done, spread out the remaining 3/4C ketchup on top with a tablespoon and then bake for an additional 5 minutes.</div>

<div>
Ok, so for this week with it being Valentines weekend and all I went with a cute red to pink glittery ombré nail art complete with halo hearts. I think they turned out pretty cute and they are fairly easy to do.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUfzF7pcYQ3VUCZL_1wDujPqPQVROIZPUXR8zr-vAOyLNmhowd2epgFJzuHOQDAMOBuQZhcdOTc8-8BTCIKQ8kulKKJ3DUv-rPac8qIEzhqELFSvfZatrncGbBbI9LbxYucvRc0rQwY9M/s640/blogger-image-1853096017.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUfzF7pcYQ3VUCZL_1wDujPqPQVROIZPUXR8zr-vAOyLNmhowd2epgFJzuHOQDAMOBuQZhcdOTc8-8BTCIKQ8kulKKJ3DUv-rPac8qIEzhqELFSvfZatrncGbBbI9LbxYucvRc0rQwY9M/s640/blogger-image-1853096017.jpg" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
The colors I used are:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Base Coat- Finger Paints "Base Coat"</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Light Pink- Fresh Paint "Pinkapalooza" </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Medium Pink- Sephora by OPI "Go with the Flow-er"</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Red- Sally Hansen Extreme Wear "Red Carpet"</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Glitter Top Coat- Sally Hansen Extreme Wear "Perky Pink"</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Halo Hearts- Revlon Top Speed Fast Dry "Hearts of Gold FX"</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Top Coat- Seche Vite "Top Coat"</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiC6t6039FzwM46fAcyuqsK0t9AAfGg8Op2btme_0gcfgGv58NR-DJb6i6bFZCqdufyVDiJIrvvsV3dVc41s32yVqF37UHHcbKmXK_QMjYvuKSd2DJ-ARYYU1GxnfjuNpEADF5ccYSb71E/s640/blogger-image-1854547919.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiC6t6039FzwM46fAcyuqsK0t9AAfGg8Op2btme_0gcfgGv58NR-DJb6i6bFZCqdufyVDiJIrvvsV3dVc41s32yVqF37UHHcbKmXK_QMjYvuKSd2DJ-ARYYU1GxnfjuNpEADF5ccYSb71E/s640/blogger-image-1854547919.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Start by putting down your base coat then two layers of the light pink. Then using a cosmetic sponge put stripes of each color lightest to darkest right next to each other making sure the stripes will fit on your nails. Meaning you don't want them to be too wide where you don't get all 3 colors or not wide enough where there's not enough color. Then pounce the spong back and forth across the nail until it's covered with the ombré stripes. Be sure to add more polish to the sponge each time when using glittery, metallic or sparkly nail polishes because the sponge soaks the paint and your nails get most of the glitter, etc,. So if you do a second nail without re-layering polish on your sponge you will get mostly color and it won't look like the last nail you did. If you need help with this step of sponging on your polish you can do a YouTube search for ombré nails and there are plenty of step by step tutorials, although hopefully I can put one up soon. Fingers crossed. :)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
After that dries I layered one coat of the glittery pink top coat. After that dries I just took individual halo heart glitter chunks out of the Revlon polish by getting them on the polish brush and then nabbing them with an orange stick and placing them on my nails. Last but not least two layers of Seche Vite top coat and viola you are done. If you have any questions feel free to ask, I'd be more than happy to help. :)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>

Peacock Green with Pastel Glitter and Glittery Gold Accent Nail<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">

<div style="text-align: center;">
This week I wanted something a little different. I'm not really a green kind of girl, but I love this polka dot polish from Sally Hansen called Samba that I got probably almost a year ago and never wore. It's iridescent hex glitters in pastel yellow, pale spring green and turquoise. I have several of these types of polish and it really is hard some times to find a base polish to put them over because you want something that goes with it but that shows them off as well. So I thought this peacock/olive green would make a good base coat. What do you think? I like it, I think it came out cute. But you know me, I still have to have some bling so gold glittery accent nails were a must. :)</div>

Hey, That Rhymes! :)<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So, a few posts back I told you all about the big sale at Drugstore.com and I wanted to pop on for a few and tell you what I got. Also show you how you can save some cash. First let me show you what I got and then later I will tell you how much I saved and how I did it. So without further ado Here's My Small Haul!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjKa45iS9ivuKI3nSO-PokZLdVb_TKa2prJCZcA4FIzR41_xT4bBMTNVhiPyMEC-TR8ABXQMYgayRbfc04hUBZncuAG4aGtP-MXbE-B2C9mejXiCh01ACzWazYhZkAsXwhPXFjpmkj9hcc/s1600/BigTopHaul1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjKa45iS9ivuKI3nSO-PokZLdVb_TKa2prJCZcA4FIzR41_xT4bBMTNVhiPyMEC-TR8ABXQMYgayRbfc04hUBZncuAG4aGtP-MXbE-B2C9mejXiCh01ACzWazYhZkAsXwhPXFjpmkj9hcc/s1600/BigTopHaul1.jpg" height="400" width="383" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So I know it's not much, but there are a lot of products in the bareMinerals "The Big Top" box, so really it's quite a few products. Now for how much this all cost me and how I did it. All of this only cost me $30.68. Let me tell you how. First of all I went through Ebates and clicked on the link there for 4% cash back at Beauty.com. I then had a coupon from Beauty.com for $10 off of a $50 or more purchase from my last shopping trip with them. Every time you shop with Beauty.com/Drugstore.com they send you one these coupons. Now I recently found out that you can only use 1 of them per account/household per cycle of them, but that's still $10 off every month or two. And like I said before we pretty much by all of our personal care items through them when they have the items we use on sale. And when they do I stock up, save now so you don't have to pay later, it what I say. Anyway, so I also had an instore credit of $13.95. Did I forget to mention before that when you shop with them you also get 5% instore credit that you can use at either site? I think I did, but now you know. You can spend it every couple of months when they credit it to you account. I believe it's every 3 months they credit your account and then you have 30 days to spend it or you lose it. Anyway, onward ho. So I picked out this bareMinerals The Big Top set because I don't really own a whole lot of bareMinerals items. I have mostly E.L.F. mineral makeup, such as eyeshadows, blushes, etc,. so I wanted to try them out. And I had to spend $50 on their site to use my coupon, so this is what I picked out. It was on sale from $79 down to $49.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now I know that it's not $50 but let me tell you how great Beauty.com is. I had several of the $10 off coupons laying around and I had already used one a while back on some Juice Beauty products (my new love. If you want to know anything about them let me know and I'll do a blogpost about them). This is when I found out about the 1 coupon per cycle. I kept putting in the coupon codes for the $10 off after making sure I had at least $50 of Beauty.com products in my cart. I think I had thrown in a cheap lip balm or something. Anyway, the coupon wouldn't work. So I called them to ask why. That's when they informed me about the one per household per cycle thing. Now I have been shopping with them for many years now and I had had the issue happen a few other times where the code wouldn't work, but just figured that it was some sort of error and blew it off. I had called one other time about it but it was during the holidays so I got busy and by the time I went in to order what I had wanted to order they were sold out of the product so I never placed the order. Then when I had an issue with a product after the fact and I called about that and told them the story of my coupon not working they never told me about the one per household per cycle thing, but of course they probably didn't know the whole story either. Anyway, so I called to say, "Hey, why isn't this coupon working?". That's when she told me, but is how great their customer service is. She said, "You know what though, you are such a good customer, I'm just going to give you an instore credit for $10. So just refresh your cart before you make your purchase and it'll be there". That is why I say that I love to shop with them. If there is ever a problem, they are so helpful and fix it for you right away.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Ok, so I got a little off track. Sorry, I do that a lot when it's something I'm passionate about or something I love or something that I'm excited about. So on with the discounts. Ok, so now I also have an instore credit for $10 so I use that. Now for my other two purchases, the CoverGirl mascara and the Maybelline Color Tattoo, I got them off of Drugstore.com. The Maybelline Metals Color Tattoo in Electric Blue is on sale for 42% off making it $4.09. And the CoverGirl Lash Blast Waterproof Mascara in Very Black is still on sale for 30% off and then also an instant coupon for $2.00 off making it $3.49. Then I paid with my credit card where I get 2% cash back on everything I purchase, for more savings. So I guess I should stop blabbering and give you the quick and dirty run down.</div>

Best thing is that I ordered it Friday evening and literally got it Saturday afternoon. Now that's some fast shipping.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
That's just a little window into how I shop and save money on the items we need or want. So if you have any questions at all on how I shop or get good deals on the items we buy, don't hesitate to ask. I'm always willing to help others save money as well. And these items are still on sale now as well speak, so if you want to get in on the deal, I would head on over to <a href="http://www.ebates.com/rf.do?referrerid=NgZ40tQvQEfuOG0iPMMCng%3D%3D&eeid=26471" target="_blank">Ebates</a> and sign up if you haven't already and then follow the link to either Drugstore.com or Beauty.com (either one as they are combined so you get the same cash back for both/either).</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So if you go shopping and find great deals or if you go there and save some money, come on back and let me know in the comments. I'm curious how much you save and what you got. And don't forget if you want swatches or reviews, let me know as I'd be more than willing to do that for you as well. Might even make a video review/tutorial for it if you ask nicely. :) lol But for now I'm going to say Toodles and sign off. Chat with you all soon!!</div>

<br />
<br />
<br />
1 Cup Mayonnaise<br />
2/3 Cup Honey<br />
1/3 Cup Mustard of your choice<br />
<br />
Just put it all in a bowl and whisk it till it's smooth and creamy. It's that easy. <br />
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Try using different types of mustard with this sauce such as spicy brown, wasabi (my youngest sons favorite), chipotle, southwest, champagne dill, etc,. There are so many mustard flavors on the market today that you can literally make it different every time you make it. Try it and tell me what you think or share your favorite honey mustard recipe. Hope you like it!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So I decided to again try out my Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette today. I'm just not impressed with it at all. The colors are not pigmented at all and they just don't blend well. They're patchy at best if you can get them to show up. But since I paid for it, I decided to give it another try. This is now my 3rd time using the palette and again, I'm just not impressed. For the money I paid for it I really and truly expected so much more. But I honestly have to say is how I feel about all of the Too Faced Palettes. They are so pretty to look at that they make you want them. But in my opinion, the quality is just awful. I have many of their palettes, so don't think that I have only this one and that it's just a bummer, it's ever one that I have. I do like the lashGASM and Better Than Sex mascaras, if you layer them in said order (lashGASM for length first and then Better Than Sex over it for volume), but again for the price I can find better ones at the drugstore that don't cost as much. With that said here are a few pics of the look I came up with:</div>

Too Faced Chocolate Bar Tutorial</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
1. Milk Chocolate- I used this for my transition color using my Sigma E35 as well as swept it under the eyes with my Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush for a smoky effect. This color was very patchy and took several times of going over it with a clean blending brush to get a smooth finish. But when I was blending it out it was disappearing so I had to keep re-applying it as well.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
2. Champagne Truffle- I used this on the inner two thirds of my lid as well as in the corner and beginning of lower lash line with my Sigma F70. This was not pigmented at all so I had to keep going over it and over it to get a smooth color payoff.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
3. Candied Violet- This I used on the outer third of the lid using my Sigma F70 and blended it into the Champagne Truffle on the rest of the lid. This color looks gorgeous in the palette, but again it is patchy and not pigmented. I had to re-apply and re-apply it and the color is not as purple as it looks in the palette either. It looks like a nice dark purple, but when applied it looks more like a brownish grey with a hint of purple. And the glitter does not show up at all.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
4. Black Forest Truffle- This I put in the crease area with my Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush but not all the way to the inside. I kept it to the outer two thirds of the crease area. Again, this shadow was patchy and I had to keep dipping in the product to get a decent color payoff.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
5. White Chocolate- I used this as my browbone highlight with my E.L.F. Studio Eyedhadow C Brush. Then I went back over the transition color with my Sigma E35 to smooth out the edges of the crease and brow bone color. This really had no color at all. I was tempted to use my favorite highlight color from the Wet-N-Wild Walking On Eggshells palette, but I did not. I was bound and determined to just use my Chocolate Bar palette.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
6. NYX Eyebrow Pencil EP06 Taupe- When doing my brows I really hate the look of the lightest part of the brow being in the beginning of the brow. I know they are being called the "Instagram Brows". I have never done my brows that was and I personally don't like it. My brows naturally start out dark in the thickest part of the brow and then get lighter as they taper out on the ends. So that's how I like to do my brows when filling them in. I personally have always done it this way and feel that it looks more natural. So I fill in my entire brow with the taupe pencil. 7. Then I go in with NYX Eyebrow Pencil EP05 Dark Brown and go over the first half of my brow and blend it in for a smooth transition. I also set my brows with a little translucent powder and then brush them out for not only a more natural look but staying power.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
8. Last but not least, I first lined my lower lash line with NYX Glide on Eye Pencil in SL10 Purple Blaze. Then I blended it out with my Sigma F70. Then again using my Sigma F70 I smudged it out with Candied Violet.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Here is a list of the other products I used in case you are interested. I do put my foundation, concealer, powder, etc,. on first before I do my eyes. And I always use a lid primer that I blend not only on my lid but also in my brows to help them stay all day as well.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
* Primer- Laura Geller Spackle & NYX Shine Killer in my T-zone</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
* Foundation- CoverGirl + Olay 120 Creamy Natural</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
* Undereye Concealer- CoverGirl + Olay Concealer Balm 310</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
* Facial Concealer- CoverGirl + Olay Concealer Balm 320</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
* All Over Face Powder- Laura Geller Blance-N-Brighten Foundation in Medium</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
* Eyelid Primer- E.L.F. Mineral Eye Primer</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
* Winged Eyeliner- Physician's Formula Eye Booster in Ultra Black</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
* Blush- Laura Geller Baked Blush in Bali. I absolutely love Laura Geller blushes. My other fave is Boysenberry.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">

Overall the Chocolate Bar Palette is just not pigmented, goes on patchy and is so powdery. Now I will give a little tip I learned a long time ago. If you are using an eyeshadow that has glitter in it or is powdery or has a lot of fallout, use a stiffer brush rather than a fluffy brush. Use a brush like the Sigma F70 or the E.L.F. Studio Concealer brush. They give you more control to pack the eyeshadow on as where as the fluffier brushes have a tendency to cause the shadow to disperse more and get everywhere. If you have the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette and you love it, then that's great. It just really doesn't work well for me. If you have any pics of eyelooks using the Chocolate Bar Palette feel free to send me some pics. Or if you have had success using it, then please give us some pointers as to how it works for you. I would love to hear and I'm sure so would others.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
If you would a like a review or make-up look using certain colors or palettes, please let me know. I would love to do some for you. I'm still waiting for my studio to get done so I can start doing actual videos. So this will have to do for now.</div>
